“人不可自欺。你们中间若有人，在这世界自以为有智慧，倒不如变作愚拙，好成为有智慧的。”（林前3：18） 

静思：

不久前，大传道人哈利·艾伦赛德和他的朋友们乘渡轮旅行。正当他们欢欢喜喜地赞美上帝的时候，有人打断他们，用责备的口气说：“你们是谁？你们在干什么？”

艾伦赛德回答说：“我们是基督徒，我们在赞美上帝，享受美好的时光。”责备他们的人说：“你们是一群傻瓜！”艾伦赛德说：“你说得对！为基督的缘故，我们是傻瓜。”

行动：

有时，基督徒的“为人处世”在世人的眼目中是愚拙的。你为基督的缘故，做过“傻瓜”吗？

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:

One day, a great preacher of yesteryear, Harry Ironside, was traveling with friends on a ferry. They were having a glorious time, singing praises to the Lord when someone interrupted them, saying critically, “Who are you people? What are you doing?”

Dr. Ironside replied, “We’re just some Christians having a good time, praising the Lord.” The heckler replied, “You’re a bunch of fools!” Ironside said, “You’re right! We’re fools for Christ’s sake.”

ACTION POINT:

The way of the Christian is sometimes foolishness in the eyes of the world. When was the last time you made a fool of yourself for Christ’s sake?
